How to Transfer from a Physical Logbook to Wingman Logbook

Converting Your Physical Logbook to Wingman

Many pilots maintain a physical logbook during their initial training or early career. Wingman offers a service to digitize this data so you can access, manage, and maintain your flying hours seamlessly in one place.

Service Overview

We provide manual logbook digitization where our team inputs your handwritten/printed entries into your Wingman account.

This service is suitable for:

  • CPL students with training records in physical format

  • Airline pilots looking to import past non-digital entries

  • Pilots flying with non-integrated operators or fleets without ARMS/airline sync

Step-by-Step Process

Step 1: Send Your Logbook Scans

Scan the pages of your physical logbook for the period you want to digitize.

  • Ensure scans are high quality and clearly legible

  • You can use mobile scanning apps like Adobe Scan, CamScanner, or Microsoft Lens

  • Alternatively, visit any Xerox or photocopy shop to scan the pages

Send your scanned files to:

Note: In our sample entry PDF, some information has been hidden for privacy reasons.

Step 2: Review & Quotation

Once we receive your scans:

  • We calculate the number of entries

  • Share a quotation based on total entries

  • Provide a secure payment link

  • Estimate a timeline for completion

Charges:

  • ₹15 per entry (approx $0.18 USD)

  • Example: 100 entries → ₹1,500 / ~$18 USD

  • 100 entries typically take 4–6 working days

Step 3: Payment & Confirmation

Once you confirm and make the payment, we begin data entry immediately.

You will receive a confirmation email and timeline update.

Step 4: Manual Data Entry

Our team will:

  • Carefully log each entry into Wingman

  • Cross-check flight details and totals

  • Match formats based on CPL, airline, or customized formats

Step 5: Import into Your Wingman Account

Once entry is complete, we import the data directly into your Wingman account.

After import, you’ll be able to:

  • View and search flights by registration, type, sector, etc.

  • Export summaries for visa, job applications, or DGCA audits

  • Print a professional logbook with filtered totals

 Additional Notes

  • A Wingman Premium Subscription is required to use this migration service and view/import data.

  • If you're not on Premium, you can upgrade via the app before we begin importing your entries.
