How to upload simulator entry on eGCA?

Simulator entries on eGCA require a step by step process. Uploading of scanned documents is also required. We recommend keeping your sim session scans, simulator facility approval and Trainer approval documents ready before proceeding

Steps to upload simulator entries on eGCA

1. Login to your eGCA profile and go to 'Fill e-logbook' page.

2. For entries under an Airline Operator, select the option of "Scheduled/Non-Scheduled/General Aviation" and select 'Previous entry' option.



Simulator entries made through Previous entry requirements does not need verification and as of now Current entry option for Simulator is not being used.

3. After selection of E-logbook entry type, the E-logbook entry page is prompted. Fill in the mandatory fields (marked with red asterisk) . The mandatory fields include Date, Name of FTO, Class of aircraft and the role performed, Simulator type (gets preselected), Simulator Registration number, Duration, FSTD Approval Certificate , Name  of Instructor/Examiner,  Instructor/Examiner Approval Certificate.

4. Select “Training” if session was of Training For Scheduled Operators, Select “ATO”
ATO -> Select type of Session
If “Others”, you can write Free Text for description of session. For example:  LOFT .



5. Select “Test” if any type of check was carried out in Simulator You can select multiple options
In case “Test” is selected, it is mandatory to upload “Skill Test Report”.



6. Check the box for declaration.

Current date will be populated as date of submission of entry.
You can choose to “Save as Draft” and edit later .

7. Once you have verified the details, Click on 'Submit' to upload the entry.
