Importing data from roster systems of airlines

Import data from roster systems?

Wingman has the feature of directly importing flight data from the pilot's roster. AIMS or ARMS format rosters can be easily converted into flight data required to be uploaded in eGCA. This eliminates the workload of manually entering each flight data in the app.

How to import flight data from airline roster systems?

Please read these instructions before importing flight data from your roster.

  1. It is not recommended to import flights which you have already written in your logbook. The app will compute the night timings for each imported flight as per the alamanac and those will not match the data already filled in your logbook.
  2.  Flights that will be fetched from the roster will be shown in a draft form, which enables you to edit them if needed. Only when you click on Import to Database, will they be imported to your app's database   and be visible on the My Flights page of the app or in Logbook/CA 39 reports
  3.  Flights imported from AIMS by Captains/PICs will not have Co-Pilot names, as they are not included in the Pilot Logbook Report published by AIMS.
  4.  Flights imported from ARMS will not have Aircraft registrations as they are not included in the roster.

Please follow the steps given below for the manual roster import,
1. Open Wingman and go to 'Roster Import'.

2. In that section, setup your airline roster credentials by clicking on 'Setup Credentials'.
3. Select the airline, enter your username and password in the Roster login.

Note: If you want the flight data to be uploaded to your eGCA profile directly, please login with your eGCA ID and password. Follow the given article to set up your eGCA profile in Wingman

4. After finishing up with the roster login, come back to roster import page and click on import specific period under manual roster import.

INFO:  You can import upto 50 sectors in the free trial plan.
5. Select the dates between which flight data has to be imported and click on Fetch data.
6. The flight data between the selected dates can be seen in My flights page.

Wingman also offers the feature of Auto Import which performs daily import of flights from the roster. This feature runs around everyday at 10 am, fetching the previous day's flight data.
INFO: This is a premium feature and can be used only for 15 days during the free trial period.
