Egca upload error description in Wingman

Understanding eGCA upload error codes and rectifying them

In some cases, errors might occur while uploading the flight data to your eGCA ID through the Wingman app. This might be due to missing out on details or inputting wrong values. To find and rectify the error , please follow the given steps.

Please find the flights which encountered errors or weren't uploaded
The flights which have not been uploaded to eGCA would be missing the green chevrons in the 'My Flights' page in the Wingman app. 

Steps to find the error in a flight 


 1. Open Wingman app and go to My flights page.
 2. Identify the flight without the green chevrons between the selected period and select the flight. 
 3. Click on 'Show' option as given in the screenshot.



 4. The reason for upload error would be shown inside the eGCA Upload Error  field




Common error codes and what they mean

Upload Failed due eGCA system error. Please try after some time. If urgent please try using their eGCA Website

- It is an error in the eGCA system and it is not accepting entries. These uploads would fail even when using the eGCA Android or iOS app. Please wait for a few days for them to fix this and the uploads would then work again. 

If it is urgent for you to upload these specific entries, please use the eGCA Website for these specific entries. 

Failed to upload flight details

- It is an unknown error from the eGCA system and you may try the upload again. If the error persists, please try from their app or website

Aircraft Details not retrieved for VT-XXX

- eGCA Aircraft list could not be searched. Please try again.

A/c registration not found in eGCA aircraft list

- The A/c registration stored in the flight does not exist on the eGCA system. Please contact your operator or eGCA to publish the aircraft registration in their system

PIC/Co Pilot eGCA id not found on eGCA

- The eGCA id stored for PIC/Co Pilot name is not found on the eGCA system. Please check the eGCA id and retry the upload. 

Multiple pilots found for given Co Pilot egca id

- The eGCA id stored for PIC/Co Pilot name is duplicated on the eGCA system. Please check the eGCA id and if it is correct as per you, please notify your operator or raise a support request to eGCA.

Error with PIC/Co Pilot eGCA ID and Name. Check on eGCA App

The stored eGCA id is returning a blank name in the eGCA list. Please check by searching the eGCA id on the eGCA app and if blank, please raise support request to eGCA.

PIC/Co Pilot Name or eGCA Id mismatch on eGCA

The name entered for the eGCA id doesn't match the pilot name for the given eGCA id, as per the eGCA system. Please check by searching the eGCA id on eGCA mobile and and edit the name in Wingman to match the name given on eGCA

No pilots found for given PIC/Co PIlot egca id. Please check the eGCA Id

Please check the eGCA id entered. This given egca id returns no result as per egca list. You may check on their app as well.

Internal Server Error
