How to Migrate from MCC PilotLog to Wingman App

How to Migrate from MCC PilotLog to Wingman App

Prerequisites

  • Active Wingman subscription.

  • MCC PilotLog desktop version installed.

  • Set your MCC timezone to UTC before exporting.

1. Export Data from MCC PilotLog

  1. Open MCC PilotLog (desktop) and go to the Query page (or press F3).

  2. Press Search (or F10) to list all your flights.

  3. Click the Export button and choose CSV or Excel. If CSV isn’t available, select Excel.

  4. Save the file (CSV or .xlsx) to your computer—this file will contain your flights, aircraft, and pilots.

2. Send Your Exported File to Wingman

  1. Compose an email to support@wingman.zohodesk.com.

  2. Attach the exported CSV or Excel file.

  3. Include your Wingman registration ID in the email body.

3. Wingman Handles the Import

  • The Wingman support team will:

    • Review your file for calculation errors or gaps.

    • Contact you if they need clarification.

    • Once approved, manually import your data into your Wingman account.

4. Review and Confirm

After import, Wingman support will:

  1. Notify you that the migration is complete.

  2. Ask you to verify accuracy—hours, aircraft types, dates, etc.

  3. Make any necessary adjustments based on your feedback.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure UTC timezone was selected in MCC before export.

  • If the CSV file is unusually large or has missing columns, double-check MCC’s export settings.

  • For Excel exports, Wingman supports both .xls and .xlsx formats, so using whichever format your version of MCC offers is fine.
